Risk Consultant, Fleet and Driver risk management
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Consultant to join our Aon Global Risk Consulting Practice. Work location can be home or office based. Aon Global Risk Consulting provides integrated solutions to help clients understand and improve their risk profile to increase profitability and protect their interests.
This is a opportunity for an experienced transport professional to provide support and specialist knowledge to our clients. Taking a thought leadership role and challenge the norms to enable clients to change their fleet and driver risk management models, to drive value and reduce the cost of insuring and running a fleet.
The main purpose of this role is the provision of risk consulting services to Aon clients supporting their needs for motor related and fleet risk control services. The successful candidate will participate in diverse client teams, contributing to generating revenue from provision of consulting services by providing value to Aon clients. About the Role
As a Risk Consultant your key responsibilities will include:
Support client's Fleet Risk Control programmes.
Support the broking process.
Act as liaison between client and insurance companies.
Undertake client fleet risk consultancy audits.
Produce reports on risks and control measures.
Produce prioritised recommendations for risk improvements.
Provide formal written reports and / or verbal presentations.
Lead projects and co-ordinate within other Aon resources in the delivery of the above.
Develop the motor fleet risk consulting proposition.
Produce management information.
Lead meetings and deliver training at both operational and senior management levels within a client organisation.
Project manage fleet programmes from start to conclusion.
Assist in the production & pricing of fleet proposals for the Aon offices.
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
You will have motor fleet risk control experience.
Casualty risk control experience preferred but not essential.
Experience of working in the insurance industry, undertaking motor fleet risk consultancy, including undertaking audits and provision of advice.
Risk management qualifications, ACII or relevant accreditations. NBOSH Diploma, or NVQ Diploma Level 5 in Occupational Health and Safety Practice or NEBOSH National General Certificate (NVQ level 3), or equivalent.
Relevant work experience in the insurance industry.
Being able to provide leadership on technical matters and contribute on business issues for the rest of the team.
Experience of working across multiple industry groups.
