    Aon are currently recruiting a Finance Systems Administrator to join our team in Epsom. The Finance Administrator will be primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of AH EMEA planning and reporting systems and processes. The role is instrumental in driving systems and reporting improvements to the benefit of the wider finance teams.

    About the Role

     

    Your impact as a Finance Systems Administrator:

    • Support submissions of actuals, planning and forecast data to corporate systems
    • Assist with month-end close activities and review month-end accounting and reporting
    • Support planning and forecasting cycles and perform financial system rollover activities
    • Develop knowledge of data structures and process timelines
    • Maintain and control key structures in the planning and reporting systems, creation of new accounts and departments in systems and ensure integrity of data in the systems
    • Troubleshoot FP&A system and reporting issues
    • Assist with the delivery of financial systems training to end users
    • Work collaboratively with the UK and EMEA Finance, Krakow Finance and other teams within the organization to complete tasks and activities more effectively
    • Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company

    About you

     

    Your knowledge and expertise:

     

    Ideally Degree qualified or similar

    Accounting qualification an advantage but not essential

     

    Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

    • Accountancy experience essential
    • Proven experience in a financial, planning and analysis role
    • Finance system and analysis background in a Finance function
    • Strong focus on continuous improvement and quality
    • Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal, organisational and communication skills
    • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
    • Disciplined and organised approach to work
    • Strong technical and systems skills - advanced Excel and modelling skills
    • Highly flexible, adept at managing expectations and adapts to changing business needs dealing effectively with ambiguity and changing circumstances
