    Aon are currently recruiting a Head of Revenue Accounting to join our team in Epsom. The Head of Revenue Accounting will be primarily responsible for managing and developing a team of 8 covering revenue recognition for the Aon business, trade intercompany and transfer pricing.

    About the Role

     

    Your impact as a Head of Revenue Accounting:

    • Managing and developing a team, covering revenue recognition for the Aon business, trade intercompany and transfer pricing.
    • Ensure UK revenue is recorded according to US GAAP reporting standards.
    • Providing guidance to the business on how best to structure their clients contracts into matter set ups.
    • Principle point of contact for inter-actions with Internal and External Audit queries as well as ad-hoc data requests from the business.
    • Review of SOX controls on a regular basis in conjunction with in-house SOX manager. Management of remediation when necessary.
    • Monthly review of all Order To Cash Balance Sheet reconciliations.
    • Monthly review of implementations and deferrals.
    • Sign off of Intercompany payments through PAMS (Payment ) system.
    • Review of all OTC and Intercompany journals.
    • Quarterly delegated investment reporting.
    • Calculation of monthly Work In Progress Levy amounts.
    • Manage all month end close processes for Revenue and Intercompany.
    • Principle contact with Corporate on any Order To Cash & Intercompany queries.
    • Monthly review of WUDS and Notional WUDS (Write Ups and Downs).
    • Understands and reflects in practice the Firm’s vision, approach to client care, the development of individuals and all values and cultural aspects of Aon.
    • Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

    Your knowledge and expertise:

     

    Qualifications

    Fully Qualified

    Good level of Technical Accounting

    Understanding of revenue recognition accounting standards

     

    Experience

    Experience of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment

    Any contract admin or management experience

    Strong analytic skills.

    Good data handling skills.

    Potential willingness for occasional travel to London / Farnborough.
