    Aon are currently recruiting a Client Specialist to join our team in London. Within this role you work collaboratively with Senior Client Specialists and Team Leader to manage the day-today client service delivery, in line with the strategy for Aon’s Global Broking Centre (GBC). The GBC delivers market-leading solutions to Aon clients, creating a competitive advantage in our placement strategies worldwide by leveraging the Aon network with access to specialist brokers and client managers, dedicated client solutions and thought leadership

     

    About the role

     

    As a Client Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

     

    • File maintenance
    • Send initial engagement, present terms, and confirm cover to client / network
    • Review, create and enhance submission
    • Review draft and final MRC, complete quote / order information, and provide invoicing instructions
    • Scan / index final agreed slip and other file maintenance
    • Providing benchmarking and placement advice to clients
    • Establish and manage pipeline
    • Produce and / or deliver tenders
    • Manage client relationships and attend client meetings
    • Provide technical wording advice to clients, and technical training / guidance to colleagues
    • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

     

    Other additional responsibilities may include:

     

    • Firm Order broking, lead quote broking, and follow market broking
    • Market relationship management, and supporting marketing strategy
    • Create bespoke wordings / clauses
    • Provide file reviews / technical reviews / peer reviews
    • Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues

      

    About you

     

    Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

     

    • Experience of managing client relationships, with excellent client service skills
    • Excellent understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes, and technical insurance knowledge
    • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems
    • Good analytical and problem solving skills, with a high level of numeracy
    • Effective communication and presentation skills
    • Excellent understanding and application of compliance and FCA regulation
    • Ability to work well as part of a team, demonstrating integrity and professionalism
