    Aon are looking for a Broker Assistant for to join the team in Manchester! This role reports to the Head of Professional Indemnity Broking and the key responsibility is to provide comprehensive administrative business support to the Professional Indemnity (PI) Broking team.

     

    About the Role

     

    Your key responsibilities will include:

     

    • Support the preparation of broking submissions.
    • Prepare issue and maintain policy and slip documentation, including endorsements.
    • Deal with general non-technical broking enquiries from the client team.
    • Capture the progress of a piece of work through its lifecycle.
    • Obtain claims experience from underwriters as appropriate.
    • Capture data and create bordereaux reports as required.
    • Create, maintain and archive electronic client files.
    • Other duties relevant to the broking activities as required
    • Other general administrative tasks and broking activities as required to support the team.
    • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

     

    About You

     

    Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

     

    • Good standard of education, preferably with English and Maths at GCSE level (minimum C grades).
    • Excellent administrative abilities, organisation skills and attention to detail.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • A desire to grow your career in the Insurance sector.
    • A team player.
    • An insurance background is preferred but not essential.
