    We're hiring! 

     

    Aon are currently recruiting a Reporting Technician to join their Redhill based team, on a 12 month fixed term basis.  Within this role, your primary objective is to deliver reports for the AUM (Aon Underwriting Managers) business unit using Aon business systems as well as Microsoft Excel and Access tools. Prior experience within the Insurance or Financial Services field is not required, and a wealth of training and knowledge transfer will be given to the successful candidate.

      

    About the role

     

    Your key responsibilities will include:

     

    • Generate reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis, such as for Premium, Risk and Bordereau.
    • Maintain a register of reports produced and monitor performance against agreed SLAs.
    • Perform Bordereaux reconciliations for premium and paid; identifying and investigating any discrepancies.
    • Assist the Financial Operations teams and AUM Reports Developer with other reporting tasks and the improvement of reporting capabilities.
    • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

     

    About you

     

    Essential:

     

    • Excellent knowledge of providing reports and data analysis using Microsoft Excel
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
    • Attention to detail

     

    Desirable

     

    • Knowledge of the insurance market and related insurance IT systems
    • Experience preparing bordereaux reports
