    Aon are currently recruiting a Client Manager / Handler to join our Financial Services Group within is part of the Global Broking Centre based in London.


    The role is for a contributor with sound technical knowledge and ability who will work collaboratively with the client team and network office the role is to deliver on a day to day basis excellent service to a defined client base.

    About the Role


    Your impact as a Client Manager / Handler:


    Core functional activity:


    File maintenance - ECM

    Send initial engagement to client/network

    Present terms to client / network

    Review / Create / Enhance Submission

    Send Cover confirmation to client/network

    Review draft / final MRC

    Scan / index final agreed slip

    Complete quote/firm order information in Brokasure including finalise MRC

    Provide invoicing instructions


    Secondary functional activity:


    Client relationship management (direct clients and/or network)

    Client meetings


    Occasional (optional) functional activity:


    Providing benchmarking and placement advice to clients

    Establish and manage pipeline

    Produce and/or deliver tenders

    Firm Order broking

    Follow market broking

    Issue invoice to client

    Respond to A/c queries

    Create BID documentation if required

    Provide technical wording advice to client/network

    Provide technical training / guidance to colleagues


    Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.


    About you


    Your knowledge and expertise:


    Specialty knowledge

    Experience of managing client accounts

    Excellent client service skills

    Excellent understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes;

    Excellent technical insurance knowledge;

    Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service;

    Good analytical and problem solving skills;

    Excellent interpersonal skills;

    High level of numeracy;

    Effective communication and presentation skills;

    Excellent  understanding and application of compliance and FCA regulation;

    Ability to work well as part of a team;

    Demonstrate integrity and professionalism
