    Project Analyst (PMO)

    Aon are currently recruiting a Project Analyst to join our team in Chelmsford. The Project Analyst will be involved in all aspects of Change and Projects within the team via the production of Management Information reporting, project audits and health checks, template management and other team operational activities.


    This includes pro-actively working with project teams and stakeholders across the business.

    About the Role


    Your impact as a Project Analyst:

    • Produce a suite of project and financial reports through collation, analysing and summarising progress for circulation to management.
    • Supporting the adoption of the project life cycle and deliverables.
    • Carry out regular reviews of programme and projects risks and issue to ensure compliance and escalate where necessary.
    • Manage UK Change SharePoint site and offer advice and guidance to project managers and teams.
    • First line of support for project and programme process and standards advice and guidance to Project/Programme Managers and change team.
    • Assisting PMO manager with Programme/Project health checks.
    • Assisting PMO Manager with defining and updating the project management processes, standards and governance.
    • Assisting PMO manager with co-ordination of recruitment and on-boarding activities on behalf of the Programme/Project Managers.
    • Other activities as directed by the Head of Change or PMO Manager.
    • Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.


    About you


    Your knowledge and expertise:

    • Self-motivated individual.
    • Flexible approach and can do attitude.
    • Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
    • Ability to work well on your own and as part of a team.
    • Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure and respond well to changing priorities.
    • Experience of using SharePoint.
    • Competent user of Ms Office, Word, Excel, Excel (intermediate /advanced level).
    • ISEB Programme & Programme Management or P30 Foundation or equivalent, desirable.
    • Some experience of working on business change projects.
