Consultant, Business Resilience. UK homebased.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant, Business Resilience. This role could be homebased (anywhere in the UK) or in our London office. The main purpose of this role is to assist in the day-to-day delivery of projects to Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) clients. The role will report into the Head of Strategic Risk Management & Consulting. The focus is to ensure that business strategy, plans and budgets are achieved and that excellence is delivered to clients.

About the Role
As a Consultant your key responsibilities will include:
As a team member to assist in delivering a variety of Business Resilience proposals and projects to a multi-national client base.
The role will involve undertaking consultancy assignments which includes report-writing and presentations to clients for the following types of projects:
Business Continuity Management
Reputational Risk and Crisis Management
Risk Assessment (Qualitative & Quantitative)
Supply Chain Risk
Training and exercising
These projects are conducted both on a stand-alone basis and as key components of broader risk management consulting projects.
The role requires good communication skills as well as a general knowledge of the industry and excellent financial and analytical ability. The individual must have sound commercial acumen and an interest in broadening one’s competency levels in the areas of Business Resilience.

Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
As a Consultant your Key experience and skills will include:
Educated to degree level, and working towards a relevant professional qualification.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
A strong interest in Business Resilience and a willingness to develop in this area
Possess good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Possess effective time management skills and have the ability to work to deadlines.
Work effectively with senior managers.
Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and display initiative.
Be flexible and adaptable.
Be committed to their own continuous personal development.
Be focused on client needs to achieve client service excellence.
Be prepared to travel.
