    Associate Consultant – Online Benefits

    Aon are currently recruiting an Associate Consultant – Online Benefits to join our Health and Benefits team. We are flexible in terms of location this could be homebased (home counties) or office based in either Farnborough or Chelmsford. The Associate Consultant – Online Benefits will be primarily responsible for providing consulting support for the implementation and ongoing operation of our online benefits clients.


    In addition to providing support the associate will also manage a client bank and support new business opportunities through to successful implementation.

    About the Role


    Your impact as an Associate Consultant – Online Benefits:

    • Gathering client requirements at implementation and renewal of online benefits schemes
    • Supporting Consultants at client meetings including preparation of meeting materials and producing meeting outputs including minutes
    • Site testing during Internal Acceptance Testing at implementation and renewal
    • Working as part of a client team.
    • Attending client meetings and presentations
    • Attending internal and client conference calls
    • For clients where you are responsible managing the overall client relationship and coordinate the delivery of the online benefit programme using the Online Benefits Governance Process
    • To meet their personal client revenue target and the revenue target for each client
    • To contribute to Online Benefits meeting its revenue and PTI target
    • To be able to operate effectively with clients and prospect
    • To work with specialists in DC, Risk, Healthcare and Communications in the delivery of the component parts of the online benefit programme.
    • To generate opportunities for expanded service from our existing client bank both in Online Benefits and DC, Risk, Healthcare and Communications
    • To support and generate new business opportunities through to successful implementation
    • Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

    Experience, Knowledge & Skills

    • Benefit experience (not necessarily online benefit)
    • Experience of interacting with clients
    • Ability to work in a complex, deadline driven environment
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to operate at different levels with clients and prospects
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
