    Client Service Manager (Team Leader), Commercial or Professional Indemnity (Chelmsford, UK)

    We are currently looking to recruit a FTC Team Leader (Commercial or Professional Indemnity) for our Affinity business in Chelmsford office.

     

    This role involves leading a team of Account Handlers in order to achieve high quality client service.

    About the Role

     

    Your key responsibilities will involve;

     

    -To develop strategies for the attainment of team revenue targets and deadlines through engagement and motivation of staff.

    -Attainment of individual revenue targets and deadlines.

    -Maintain service delivery by the team and self to agreed standards.

    -Maximize renewal and retention of existing accounts.

    -To provide regular financial updates and projections to senior management.

    -To identify key risks to revenue opportunities and devise appropriate strategies for dealing with them.

    -To manage the team to ensure relevant activities undertaken to achieve the desired outcomes.

    -Effective management of the team to enhance client experience whilst maintaining regulatory compliance.

    -Analysis of data and the ability to respond with relevant information to management, clients and/or third parties.

    -Be aware of market trends, maintaining satisfactory levels of technical competence and an understanding of the need to mitigate risk both internally and externally.

    -Lead motivate and engage a team through the use of effective performance management tools including SMART objectives, regular 121 reviews, call standards and action plans.

     

     

    About you

     

    As an Team Leader your skills and qualifications will include;

     

    -Ideally ACII or equivalent

    -Is able to motivate and engage a team to achieve targets and deadlines.

    -Ability to engage with internal and external partners and communicate and influence effectively at a senior level.

    -Ability to prioritise self and others workloads.

    -Proactively lead team in all times of change and resolve challenges when encountering resistance.

    -Ability to influence in order to achieve a desired outcome.

    -Ability to demonstrate previous client/relationship management.

    Previous relevant insurance industry experience.

    -Commitment to excellence relative to provision of client service and insurer relationships.

    -Commitment to developing others through effective performance management techniques including training and development planning.
