    Aon are currently recruiting a Sales Support Administator to join our team in Sheffield. The Sales Support Administator will be primarily responsible for providing ongoing and pro-active administrative support to colleagues within the Sheffield Telesales Office. The Sales Support Administrator will be responsible for collating and following up on information as well as supporting colleagues in the day to day running of the office.

    About the Role

     

    Your impact as a Sales Support Administator:

    • Ensure the confirmation letters are sent out to customers
    • Answer the main telephone line to the office and direct calls as required
    • Process cancellations by updating CRM and informing the Adviser
    • Build reports by extracting information from CRM/Salesforce to Excel
    • Manage call back distribution from CRM to the Telesales Staff
    • Liaise with Advisers ensuring feedback is given on appointments
    • Support management with general administration to ensure the smooth running of the office
    • Undertake ad hoc project work/special assignments where required
    • Maintain, or where possible, enhance service standards to potential clients
    • Have an understanding of and ability to work within, industry regulation
    • Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

    About you

     

    Your knowledge and expertise:

     

    Technical Skills Required:

    • Computer literacy – Word, Excel, Outlook or similar is essential at Intermediate proficiency or above
    • Ability to write reports
    • Knowledge of market (providers and products) for all aspects of our business (desirable)
    • A general working knowledge of the law as is relates to insurance, including Data Protection
    • Awareness and understanding of FCA rules/GDPR and our stance on compliance

    • Ability to work under pressure and without constant supervision
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to recognise deadlines and priorities workload accordingly
    • Attention to detail
    • Tact and diplomacy
    • Ability to work in a pressurised environment
