Aon are currently recruiting a Client Manager / Handler to join out Financial Services Group (APEX) team in London.
The Client Manager will be primarily responsible for acting as the contact for a dedicated client (or a portfolio of clients) to ensure client needs and expectations are met, including providing the client with access to all Aon Limited resources and products. Lead, develop and improve the day to day client relationship and client experience. Maintain and improve client satisfaction, retention, revenue and profitability. Establish relationships with the relevant Aon Network(s).

APEX is an ARS UK business working with large financial institutions and professional services organisations, such as large legal firms, Banks, building societies, insurance companies and asset managers.
About the Role
Your impact as a Client Manager / Handler:
Prepare client plans and co-ordinate the overall end-to-end service delivery to agreed standards
Manage renewal, retention and growth of existing accounts with effective client relationships.
Co-ordinate the overall renewal process and ongoing service needs
Individually initiate and close new business opportunities from potential clients and Aon network and, where required, support the Client Director
Analyse clients’ coverage needs, collect and analyse relevant information to identify risk transfer solutions
Provide advice to clients and colleagues on the scope of coverage available for different products to establish the appropriate product that meets the clients' coverage needs
Review and quality check insurance documentation at a pre-determined stage in the process to establish whether the selected product accurately reflects clients' coverage requirements
Ensure a full technical and quality check has been completed on all work.
Liaise with colleagues on any issues arising
Produce all (re)insurance documentation for negotiation and confirmation of coverage (does not include invoicing, closing or preparation of insurer policies but includes co-ordination of timely delivery of documentation to the client)
Establish and maintain risk placement files, ensure all risk information is accurate, complete and up-to- date and distribute information to appropriate individuals when required
Work with other professionals on an individual account or a portfolio of accounts to ensure that relevant information is shared among appropriate individuals and required actions are taken to meet clients' needs
Provide advice to clients and colleagues on market developments and share knowledge of market trends to enhance the overall value proposition
Analyse, bespoke and manuscript wordings to develop Aon products with wordings, clauses and other constituent components (does not include market agreement of structured products)
Ensure the appropriate staffs are aware of all risks with warranties. Review status ensuring warranties are met
Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
Your knowledge and expertise:
Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
Chartered member of CII
Excellent understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
Experience of managing effective client relationships
Strong business acumen
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
High level of numeracy
Effective communication and presentation skills
Good understanding of compliance and FCA regulation
Ability to work well as part of a team
Demonstrate integrity and professionalism
