    Aon are currently recruiting a French speaking Technician / Account Manager to join our EMEA Facultative Team in London. The Technician /Account Manager will be primarily responsible for producing and providing quality checks in respect of documentation and transactional activities required to support the placement of business. You will also be responsible for building a relationship with, providing a service to and managing the expectations of a client or clients. You will have hands on involvement in product development analysis and application. You may assist in marketing business within the Lloyds and Company Market on a day to day basis.

    About the Role


    As a French speaking Technician / Account Manager some of your key responsibilities will involve:


    Key responsibilities:

    • Responsible for assisting in producing and/or providing quality checks in respect of documentation and transactional activities supporting the placement of business
    • Full responsibility for producing slips, endorsement and debit notes.  Client management and end to end processing of risk through to broker finalise status
    • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
    • Understanding less complex clients’ coverage needs in order to collect and analyse relevant information for risk transfer solutions
    • Brokers endorsements and renewals – can identify appropriate channels for risk placement based on clients’ market security guidelines and other requirements
    • Provides assistance to more senior brokers on the renewal process for more complex accounts
    • Builds strong relationships within the market and with relevant Aon network

    As a Technician / Account Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

    • Bilingual English and French
    • Client/Market Knowledge
    • Understands sector and key clients/markets (Facultative)
    • Taking active steps to understand competitors’ relationships and products
    • Relationship Management
    • Has developed few deeper relationships internally and in the market
    • Able to listen to key contacts and interpret simple needs
    • Considered a competent communicator in familiar situations
    • Other Skills/Attributes
    • Competent in the use of all relevant systems
    • Competent in IT (including Excel)
    • Organised, analytical, reliable, take initiative, eager to learn
    • Understands and can articulate the end to end broking process
    • Confident at broking endorsements/simple renewals
