Account Handler – Credit Solutions
Aon are currently recruiting an Account Handler to join our team in Chelmsford. The primary responsibility of the role is to support client managers and directors in servicing large corporate and international trade credit insurance clients.

About the Role
As an Account Handler – Credit Solutions your main responsibilities will involve:
Under instruction and direction of client manager/client directors, helping with renewal, retention and growth of existing client relationships
Working within a team on a portfolio of accounts to ensure that relevant information is shared among client team and required actions are taken to meet clients' needs
Interacting with Clients and Insurers on day to day policy management including credit limit management, following up progress on reported buyers overdue in making payment to client for goods sold and delivered on credit terms.
Supporting client managers and directors with Policy renewals including gathering and analysing relative statistical detail, chasing potential Insurer for indications of cover, preparation of Renewal reports
Assisting with Claims examination and broking process
Gathering and analysing policy and market data, producing reports and presentations
Where appropriate liaising with Aon global network on Global Client programmes.
Developing and improving the day to day client relationship and client experience;
Supporting client managers/client directors in delivering operational excellence and best practice including revenue tracking and data management via internal IT systems
Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
As an Account Handler your skills and qualifications will ideally include;
Work experience in insurance, credit management or related sector would be of advantage but not essential.
An understanding of, and interest in, the Insurance market
Proficient in use of Microsoft office and confident with IT systems
