    McLagan are currently recruiting a Reward Director to join our team in London.

    About the Role

     

    As a Reward Director some of your key responsibilities will involve;

     

    Pivotal role in our Banking Reward practice, providing reward benchmarking and advisory services to UK and International Banking organisations.

    The Reward Director must possess experience in the building of significant relationships with individuals in reward and/or HR roles in financial services organisations.

    The requirement is for an individual that has strong technical reward expertise and is looking to utilise those skills in a consultative environment that will deliver revenue opportunities for the McLagan Banking team.

    Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

     

    About you

     

    As a Reward Director your skills and qualifications will include;

     

    Solid understanding of the European Commercial Banking industry.

    A thorough understanding of compensation and the issues affecting reward structures, including the regulatory environment.

    The Reward Director must possess experience in the building of significant relationships with individuals in reward and/or HR roles in financial services organisations.

    Ability to master a specific area of expertise. Will be considered an expert and the go-to person for reward expertise and European Corporate Banking trends.

    Will have a supervisory/mentoring role.  A person that more junior staff can learn from and takes a proactive role in sharing experience and expertise.

    Good communication skills both internally and externally.

    Proven business developer/innovator.

    Develops and mentors’ internal talent, both within own area and across the firm.

    Nationally recognized client advisor and relationship manager.

    Global client manager who builds client relationships by conducting detailed problem-solving assignments and overseeing large scale projects.

    Advances business goals by working across areas within own practice on behalf of clients and the firm.

    Champions changes within business area to improve client service, quality of products, and engagement of people.

    Driven in client service, origination, and delivers results orientated solutions to often complex problems.

    Able to develop business by understanding a client’s requirements and tailoring approach.

    Excellent analytical skills. 

    Proven record of ability to distil large amounts of data into a coherent message to facilitate decision making.
