    Senior Client Manager
    (Chelmsford, UK)

    We are currently looking to recruit a motivated Senior Client Manager to lead our IFA (Independent Financial Advisors) team looking after Professional Indemnity Insurance based in our dynamic Chelmsford office.

     

    Within the commercial existing business team, you will be responsible for managing your own allocation of clients as well as leading and supporting other Assistants or Client Managers.

     

    We are also looking for individuals that can proactively cross sell other products to our existing client for a variety of policies such as office insurance, Directors & Officers, Group Personal Accident and Travel, Cyber and more.  

     

    This role is an exciting opportunity for the successful individual to join a team in a senior position and to support the Team Managers or Associate Directors.

     

    Your impact as a Senior Client Manager

     

    • Responsible for supporting the development of existing Business in accordance with plans
    • Lead Support Other Client Managers (or Assistants)
    • Identification and conversion of additional business opportunities from current clients.
    • Preparation of renewal documentation including liaising within insurers, invitation, renewal schedules and clarification of claims.
    • Allocate and manage diaries to ensure policies are invited for renewal in good time to meet delivery standards.
    • Providing guidance on coverage issues to clients and/or the branch network.
    • Ensuring all post sale / alteration documentation is sent accurately and in a timely manner, including invoicing and policy issuance.
    • Compliance with business reporting requirements and FCA regulations.
    • General office duties as directed by the Line Manager.
    • Support Team Manager or Associate director with day to day operations of the team(s).

    • 3 – 5 Years Professional Indemnity Technical knowledge (specifically for IFA’s)
    • Excellent client relationship management & customer focus
    • Exceptional customer service skills
    • Ability to work on own initiative as well as in a team environment
    • Ability to lead and support other team members
    • Persistent and resilient
    • Achievement and results focused
    • IT literate – email, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, databases
    • Experience of using databases
    • Self-disciplined, self-motivated and organised
