    Aon are currently recruiting a Cyber Analytics Leader to join our team in London.

     

    Aon Global Risk Consulting provides integrated solutions to help clients understand and improve their risk profile to increase profitability and protect their interests.

    Cyber risk remains the most rapidly evolving yet poorly understood risk topic for many of our client.

     

    The Cyber Risk Consulting team works with clients to identify and quantifying their cyber risks; assisting them with the selection and implementation of appropriate risk mitigation and transfer solutions; and by providing strategies following a major loss to ensure the continuity of their operations.

     

    The Cyber Risk Consulting team is part of a wider Aon Global Risk Consulting business and helps service clients in US, EMEA, and APAC markets.

    About the Role

    Reporting to the Head of AGRC Cyber Risk Consulting and working as a member of the global A&A team, the Cyber Risk Analytics Leader will drive the continued development, integration, and advocacy of the Aon Cyber Analytics proposition.

     

    This role will involve extensive industry research and engagement with thought leaders in cyber security, machine learning, and predictive analytics.

     

    Responsibilities will also involve coordinating efforts across various functions in broking, consulting, and data analytics teams across Aon to drive forward the Aon Cyber Analytics proposition.

     

    Within this role, the Cyber Risk Analytics Leader will include:

    Working with the Global Cyber Risk Consulting team and EMEA/US Actuarial & Analytics team to continuously improve the existing Aon Cyber Analytics proposition.

    Driving the adoption and execution of Aon Cyber Analytics solutions by our consulting teams.

    Leading sector specific research and product innovation to enhancement the Aon Cyber Analytics proposition.

    Supporting the evaluation of external data resources and analytics platforms that can be leveraged to advance the existing Aon Cyber Analytics proposition.

    Mentoring senior team members on active client projects through sharing of insight and knowledge.

    Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

     

    About you

    As the Cyber Analytics Leader your skills and qualifications will include:

     

    Essential

    Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Statistics.

    ASA, FSA, MAAA, FCAS, FSPA/MSPA designations or equivalent preferred.

    Actuarial experience with; Operational risk analytics (i.e. model development, validation, governance, implementation, integration, and automation). Regulatory frameworks (CCAR, Basel II/III, or IFRS9).

    Experience with actuarial software applications (MG-ALFA, SAS, Matlab, R, SQL, C++, VBA, Murex, Calypso, Numerix).

    Understanding of insurance contracts, products, insurance rates, and trends.

    Experience of developing and improving product innovation.

    Evidence of working with senior stakeholders on new product development initiatives

    Team & Stakeholder Management.

    Strong influencing skills and ability to coordinate among multiple teams.

    Understanding of cyber insurance markets, contracts, and products.

    Understanding of cyber security, data privacy concepts, and relevant financial institutions regulations.

    Experience with machine learning or predictive analytics.
