    H&B Commission Accounts Receivable Assistant

    Aon are currently recruiting a H&B Commission Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our team in Chelmsford. The H&B Commission Accounts Receivable Assistant will be primarily responsible for:

    • Credit control of Commission Income receivable balances
    • Liaising with the business and insurers to reconcile, investigate and resolve queries
    • Maintaining regular audit of Commission Income

    About the Role

     

    As a H&B Commission Accounts Receivable Assistant some of your key responsibilities will involve:

    • Assisting with Commission system transition project
    • Credit control of Commission Income receivable balance
    • Liaising with the business and insurers to reconcile, investigate and resolve queries
    • Posting of Insurer commission expectation amendments
    • Reconciliation, investigating and resolving queries with Insurers
    • Producing monthly audit of Commission revenue to ensure revenue recognised in line with Aon policy. Reporting findings  to management and providing assistance with remediation of errors
    • Assistance with resolving historical payables and suspense balances
    • Providing cover within the OTC team
    • Adhoc duties as required
    • Supporting the internal and external audit process
    • Providing continuous review and improvements to processes relating to Commission Income
    • Being responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company

     

    About you

     

    As a H&B Commission Accounts Receivable Assistant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

    • Intermediate Excel
    • Intermediate Word
    • IRESS/1st Software knowledge
    • Good attention to detail
    • Accounting experience
    • Good verbal, organisational & communication skills
    • Work under pressure to deadlines
    • High degree of accuracy with a good eye for detail
    • Self-motivated and proactive
