Aon are currently recruiting a Trainee Broking Technician to join our International Casualty Team in London. The role is for an individual with the core competencies and behaviours required for the role and the desire to gain a solid technical grounding to develop further into a professional practitioner.

About the Role
As a Trainee Broking Technician some of your key responsibilities will involve:
Core functional activity:
File maintenance - ECM
Review draft / final MRC
Scan / index final agreed slip
Complete quote/firm order information in Brokasure
Provide invoicing instructions
Secondary functional activity:
Create draft / final MRC in Brokasure
Review / enhance risk data in Brokasure
Occasional (optional) functional activity:
Send initial engagement to client/network
Review / Create / Enhance Submission
Send Cover confirmation to client/network
Firm Order broking (Ebix / wet stamps / email)
Issue invoice to client
Respond to A/c queries
Create BID documentation if required
Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
As a Trainee Broking Technician your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Applications, essential

Insurance knowledge, preferable
Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
Good problem solving skills
