2443273 - Broking Technician (Construction), (Chelmsford)
Aon are currently recruiting a Broking Technician to join the Global Broking Centres Construction team in Chelmsford. The role is for a contributor (Aon career stage) with sound technical knowledge and ability. The role will fully support the end to end broking process.
Provide full operational support to broking/client team (based in both London and Chelmsford) and proactively assisting in the day to day running of client’s risks and insurance programmes.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to the broking/client team in relation to invoicing and accounting activities.
Support any change of process and practices.

About the Role
As a Broking Technician some of your key responsibilities will involve:
Core functional activity:
Complete quote/firm order information in Brokasure including finalise MRC
Review / enhance/complete risk data in Brokasure to support Invoicing
Quality check and issuance of Invoices
Respond to accounting queries and coordinate fiduciary activities as may be necessary
Act as a liaison between broking/client team and support functions.
Review draft / final MRC
Scan / index final agreed slip
File maintenance - ECM
Secondary functional activity:
Review / Create / Enhance Submission
Support the offshore teams
Occasional (optional) functional activity:
Create BID documentation if required
Provide technical training / guidance to colleagues
Creation of tax schedules in IPT Quote.

As a Broking Technician your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Ability to interpret and use data effectively
Sound understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
Sound technical insurance knowledge
Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service
Good problem solving skills

Good level of numeracy
