The Accounting Associate provides support for the Accounting department and Due Diligence Business Unit (DDSR) in the area of Billing and Accounts Receivable.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for daily set-up and maintenance related to new client-matters, including transferring of information to accounting system, extraction of necessary information from engagement letters, pricing arrangements and completing all edit notifications.
Monthly invoicing and assistance with monthly reporting
Assist team with other accounts receivable duties, including estimates for clients, requested paperwork from clients, analysis of billing information and more.
Working closely with Business Support Manager and Managing Director to streamline current billing procedures and workflows.
Work with Collections Specialist to aid in collection efforts for client receivables.
Knowledge of invoicing and accounts receivable functions.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. (Intermediate level in MS Excel)
Strong organisational skills.
Accurate and detail oriented record keeping skills.
Strong interpersonal communication and clear and articulate speech.
Excellent client-facing skills, including the ability to expertly convey information in non-technical terms with professionalism and confidence.
Capacity for adaptation to a rapidly changing environment.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferable
