Aon Benfield is currently recruiting an Actuarial Analyst to join our UK & Ireland actuarial team in London. The Actuarial Analyst will be primarily responsible for providing expert actuarial analysis and modelling in support of placement services, in particular reinsurance pricing.  You will also promote the use of analytical tools and services throughout the business and client development.

As Actuarial Analyst some of your key responsibilities will involve:

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Actuarial analysis
  • Actuarial research and development
  • Development of risk models
  • Expert actuarial advice
  • New business development (reinsurance or insurance)
  • Promotion of actuarial expertise internally and externally
  • Client relationship management
  • Training and coaching
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

About you

 

As Actuarial Analyst  your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline or equivalent
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Problem Solving
  • Experience within the (Re) Insurance industry desirable but not essential
  • Client Focus
  • Business Awareness
  • Financial Awareness
