Aon are currently recruiting a Risk Finance Consultant to join our Risk Finance team in London.
Aon Global Risk Consulting provides integrated solutions to help clients understand and improve their risk profile to increase profitability and protect their interests.
The main purpose of this role is to provide risk finance consulting services to Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) clients across a diverse range of projects.

About the Role
As a Risk Finance Consultant your key responsibilities will include:
Provide advice on risk finance issues including but not limited to risk retention, (re)insurance programme design, captive insurance companies, self-insurance strategies, legacy risk and structured insurance programmes.
Provide formal written reports and / or verbal presentations, adjusting standard reporting templates as required by the specific circumstances of each assignment.
Contribute to (and lead on some) projects and co-ordinate other AGRC resources and / or manage Analysts and Consultants in the delivery of the above.
Identify opportunities to develop distinctive risk consulting propositions within the Risk Finance practice.
Research and development of technical issues as well as new products and services
Develop and maintain broad relationships with opportunity providers within Aon network.
Develop and maintain relationships with direct clients.
Develop an understanding of how current assignments fit in with wider business issues faced by clients.
Promote the services of other AGRC practice groups and sister companies.
Contribute to marketing and business planning initiatives.
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
Your skills and qualifications will include:
Solid technical knowledge of insurance / risk management principles and practice.
Capable of working in both team and individual environments to tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a wide range of internal and external clients to a senior level.
Capable of identifying opportunities to sell AGRC's services and structure appropriate commercial responses.
Operate at all times in a professional manner and in line with individual and group commercial objectives maximising profitability.
A working knowledge of common business IT applications such as email, word processing and data packages.
