Technical Insurance Project Manager – (Redhill, Reading or Chelmsford, UK)

Aon is currently recruiting a Client Project Manager to join our National / Corporate team in its Southern region (based in either Redhill, Reading or Chelmsford). The Project Manager is primarily responsible for working with the Project Management leader and business stakeholders within the Redhill, Reading, Chelmsford and London area to deliver successful new business and defence bids. They will additionally support the business with technical and client specific projects and assist the wider business as required. The Project Manager will support the Project Management leader in delivering value propositions ensuring that projects are reported to the relevant stakeholder using the correct mediums and that the organisation and prioritisation of ongoing projects.

About the Role
As a Client Project Manager some of your key responsibilities will involve;
Develop and implement solutions by engaging and utilising expertise within Aon
Establish best practice and develop the Aon Brand of Bid management and client reports
Liaise with client and future client stakeholders to understand business needs and work with these stakeholders to implement strategies
Manage stakeholders within the business and within future clients to implement product solutions
Identify and work with product experts and client relationship managers to support product solution
Ensure projects are delivered to agreed timescales and quality
Deliver projects and manage business resource to deliver projects as required by the business units to help the business meet strategic and operational goals of the organisation
Assist the development and provision of tools that can be used in the business planning process
Conduct analysis of assigned business problems/ issues and facilitate development of options and recommendation to resolve
Work with the business unit to develop and implement product/strategic plans
Responsible for liaising with key stakeholders within the business to ensure that projects are delivered as agreed
Responsible for liaising with other divisions and resources with Aon to ensure they are appropriately involved and gain sign-off as required
Reporting, processes and governance;
Follow agreed processes
Take responsibility for providing regular reports on progress
Identifying areas of improvement within processes and implementing improvements where required
Develop, implement and oversee relevant reporting for stakeholders
Responsible for ensuring that the correct governance is in place for all projects
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
As a Project Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include;
Insurance industry experience
Knowledge of Aon Bid Management methodologies desirable not essential
Educated to a degree level or equivalent desirable not essential
Project Management experience
Analysis and problem solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication, including report writing and presentations
