Aon are currently recruiting a Financial Lines Broker to join our team in Manchester. The Financial Lines Broker will be primarily responsible for:
The Broker will primarily be responsible for delivering a high quality and efficient service to benefit clients. Working in a small team, the role will involve working with Aon Retail offices to broke (new and renewal) Financial Lines business to a panel of insurers and/or open market placement as appropriate.

About the Role
As a Financial Lines Broker some of your key responsibilities will involve:
Maintaining and monitor renewal lists in conjunction with UK Retail offices and agree timetables for renewal presentations and broking to the panel of insurers.
Assisting in the delivery of sales initiatives and/or client service arrangements with UK Retail offices
In coordination with UK Retail offices producing new and renewing business presentations ensuring that complete risk information is provided to insurers
Responsibility for obtaining quotations from the insurers and issuing quotations and summary reports to the UK Retail offices
Providing advice to clients and colleagues on the scope of coverage available for different products
Confirming bind instructions to insurers and document insurers acceptance
Arranging and Issue policy documentation on behalf of insurers within agreed service standards
Recording all work, risk presentations, quotation terms and bound business in appropriate systems
Monitoring, quality checking, obtaining sign-off from authorised signatories (where applicable), and issue client documentation within contract certainty and divisional timeframes
Providing administrative support to the client managers to ensure: all administrative and compliance requirements are met; relevant information is shared among appropriate individuals; and client service is delivered to agreed standards
Providing support to the team leader in monitoring and reporting team revenues against budget
Carrying out ad hoc tasks and other duties that may arise from time to time as specified by Line Manager & senior management
Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.
As a Financial Lines Broker your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
ACII qualified or equivalent or working towards
