DCS Middle Office Analyst

Our DC Teams have been growing rapidly over the last few years and currently comprise over 100 consultants based around the UK. As we aim to continue growing our market share, we are seeking an individual to join the London team as a Middle Office Analyst.


The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for taking ownership of all general Middle Office tasks, and support the wider DCS teams to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Your impact as a MO Analyst

  • Developing a close working relationship with the custodian, administrator and sub-investment managers
  • Working closely with various internal teams (including Portfolio Management and Sales)
  • Maintaining oversight of current and projected cash balances
  • Performing daily reconciliations of fund holdings and investor holdings
  • Client and fund transaction analysis
  • Completion of proxy voting forms
  • Assisting in pension fund audits
  • Scheduling internal portfolio committee meetings and preparation of presentation packs
  • Reviewing monthly / quarterly performance calculations
  • Reviewing monthly / quarterly reports
  • Ad hoc project work
  • Assisting in preparation of client meeting packs


You bring knowledge and expertise

  • Degree or equivalent
  • You will ideally have previous asset management experience / exposure
  • You will ideally have experience from a relevant operational role
  • Knowledge of all major asset classes
  • Knowledge of investment structures useful
  • Excellent numerical ability and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong computer skills, with advanced skills in Excel and Word
  • Experience with the various methods of investment performance calculations
  • Knowledge of Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) useful
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain working relationships with both internal and external clients
