We’re hiring! Aon Affinity are currently recruiting for a Technical Manager to join our new office in Cardiff.

Role purpose/Summary

To contribute to the smooth running of the business unit by supporting the Operations Director and undertaking project management to deliver system and process improvements.


Key Activities

  • Work closely with Business Analyst to facilitate delivery of projects and process
  • Identify opportunities to improve the service, procedures and tools used within EBU.
  • Assisting with viewing, improving and redesigning business processes within EBU.
  • Build and continually develop relationships with key suppliers to increase operational capability of EBU.
  • Document existing business processes and help to manage their continual improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops/training with both on and offshore teams
  • Delivery of business improvement projects to agreed quality and time, ensuring key stakeholders are engaged and involved at all relevant stages.
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks to assist Operations Director
  • Ensure administrative functions operate smoothly

  • Ability to liaise and manage relationships with external providers
  • Strong and effective communication and presentation skills
  • Highly organized
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience of managing effective client relationships
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to effectively deliver client service
