Telesales Executive

Aon are currently recruiting a Telesales Executive to join our team in Leeds. The Telesales Executive will be primarily responsible for for building a telesales approach and team to deliver Health, Risk and DC sales in the SME market, actively managing and building prospect databases to achieve a flow of new clients across a range of products and services and for delivering sales to an agreed sales target.

About the Role


As a Telesales Executive some of your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Leading and managing the telesales team,
  • Delivering individual targets in addition to managing team,
  • Managing the databases to maximise new client wins,
  • Building and developing strong relationships with the other teams to deliver the new product/service to our clients,
  • Adhering to the protocols, procedures and administration specific to the role,
  • Take an active part in activities and initiatives aimed at promoting Aon's products and services in the marketplace (e.g. media events, trade conferences, client seminars),
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

About you


As a Telesales Executive your skills and qualifications will ideally include:


Education & Professional   

  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent,
  • A professional working background desirable.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills


  • Demonstrable track record of success in telesales in the service sector,
  • Knowledge of the insurance or broking sector,
  • An organised and systematic approach,
  • Having the ability to work unsupervised,
  • Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills,
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality,
  • Resilience, able to work in a demanding fast moving environment,
  • Professional in approach to working with clients,
  • Team oriented - works proactively with other team members to achieve results.
