Responsibilities

Due to continued success Aon is currently recruiting an Associate Pensions Consultant to join our team in Bristol.

We are proud of our diverse client base here at Aon and you will be a key contributor tasked with the delivery of exceptional client service.

Your impact as an Associate Pensions Consultant

  • Delivering expert and professional services to our clients, including:
    • Providing scheme secretarial services to Trustees;
    • Drafting member communications and advice; and
    • Project management of larger tasks.
  • Consulting on a wide range of trustee and corporate pension issues both internally and externally.
  • Building strong relationships with each client.
  • Effectively influencing and negotiating colleagues and external contacts through development of working relationships to ensure client commitments are met.
  • Taking responsibility for the production (quality, timeliness and budget) of work for allocated clients.
  • Taking part in setting, negotiating and invoicing fees where appropriate with the Client Manager.
  • Ensuring appropriate legislative, regulatory, business, practice and professional standards are followed.
  • Progressing with professional qualifications.

 

You bring knowledge and expertise

  • Relevant industry knowledge and/or consulting knowledge coupled with sound technical capability.
  • Ideally studying towards PMI exams or have an interest in taking PMI exams
  • Ability to deliver effective client service to multiple clients within agreed financial and time budgets.
  • Experience in a similar client facing role is preferred
  • Good understanding of occupational pension provision and scheme governance.
  • Broad understanding of pensions administration.
  • Participate in a continuous professional and personal development including keeping abreast of statutory obligations and relevant legislation.
