Business Administrator – Global Space Team (London, UK)

Aon are currently recruiting a Business Administrator to join our GBC Global Space based in London.

The purpose of the role is to support Senior Brokers and Brokers in the efficient delivery of all market (and network) facing activity within scope of responsibility. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global market, building relationships with insurers and ensuring the smooth running of the business administration function.

About the Role

As a Business Administrator some of your key responsibilities will involve;

  • File maintenance – ECM
  • Send initial engagement to client/network
  • Send Cover confirmation to client/network
  • Review draft / final MRC
  • Record broking activity in market sheets
  • Scan / index final agreed slip
  • Complete quote/firm order information in Brokasure including finalise MRC
  • Provide invoicing instructions
  • Present terms to client / network

Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

 

About you

As a Business Administrator your skills and qualifications will ideally include;

 

  • Strong MS Excel knowledge
  • Ability to interpret and use data effectively
  • Ability and willingness to acquire technical insurance knowledge;
  • Ability to use insurance industry IT systems to efficiently deliver client service;
  • Good problem solving skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Good level of numeracy;
  • Effective communication and presentation skills;
  • Ability to work well as part of a team;
  • Demonstrate integrity and professionalism.
