Aon are currently recruiting a Data Analyst to join our team in London. The Data Analyst will be primarily responsible for reviewing errors in monthly Lines and Liability reports for all APac regional offices. This is a global role liaising with various internal teams.

 

You will run reports for each regional office extracting latest monthly data and highlighting errors /missing data in key columns issuing reports of errors to regional office for correction of Grids data.

As a Data Analyst some of your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Combine current data for selected teams, adding additional information as to reinsurer’s shares and estimated Premium Income
  • To provide Client and Reinsurer ranking by premium volume, class and business type
  • Ensure all “new” reinsurers are included with owning group totals, by reference to Grids Entity maintenance table. Update group ownership table to reflect latest mergers and acquisitions advices
  • Import monthly data into Reinsurer record card template file to allow production of standard style reinsurer reports
  • Monitor any alert warnings and assist in assuring that sanctions are checked, cleared or escalated as appropriate
  • Provide any ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior management
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

About you:

 

As a Data Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, to include pivot tables
  • Financial Services experience is essential
  • Reinsurance/insurance experience highly desirable
