Aon are currently recruiting a Actuarial Analyst to join our team in London. The Actuarial Analyst will be primarily responsible for providing actuarial analysis and modelling in support of placement services.  You will also promote the use of analytical tools and services throughout the business and client development.


This role is a junior Actuarial Analyst within GRS team, supporting other actuarial analysts within the team.  Tasks will include data preparation and analysis, actuarial modelling, actuarial analysis and presentations to clients and stakeholders

As a Actuarial Analyst some of your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Actuarial analysis and presentations to clients and stakeholders
  • Data preparation
  • Actuarial research and development
  • Actuarial modelling / development of risk models
  • Giving actuarial advice
  • New business development (reinsurance or insurance)
  • Promotion of actuarial expertise internally
  • Client relationship management
  • Training and coaching
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

About you

As a Actuarial Analyst your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Highly Numerate
  • Degree educated in a relevant discipline or equivalent
  • Experience within the (Re) Insurance industry desirable but not essential
  • Client Focus
  • Business Awareness
  • Financial Awareness
  • Problem Solving
  • Communication skills
