McLagan are currently recruiting a Reward Manager Banking to join our team in London. The Reward Manager Banking will be primarily responsible for helping empowering results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our McLagan business group within Aon Hewitt’s Talent, Rewards and Performance team. This position offers an opportunity to work as a Manager in our Stamford, CT office.

About the Role

As a Reward Manager some of your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Researching existing and emerging trends in client business
  • Analyzing data related to surveys and client engagements
  • Completing complex analyses; writing reports
  • Fielding client questions and deliver solutions
  • Mentor and provide guidance to more junior staff
  • Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.

About you

As a Reward Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Business Knowledge – Background in Financial Services preferred and more specifically Banking / Lending a plus.
  • Technical Skills – Individual should be capable in Excel / PowerPoint, can build presentations, analyze data and extrapolate results from large data sets. Ability to create a story / narrative around information.
  • Relationship Management – Person should be able to talk comfortably with clients, answer on-the-spot questions, service clients, speak and present well. Confidently manage day-to-day client questions / requests.
  • Self-Starter / Independence– Entrepreneurial spirit in the sense they are comfortable in an unstructured environment. Manages time / commitments with little oversight. Develops relationships internally to finds answers to questions.
  • Team Player – Must be able to work within a team, be flexible, diplomatic.
  • Project Management – Not vital, but nice to have. At a minimum, ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Presentation Skills – Ability to be consultative, having strong verbal and written communication.
  • Experience: Strong consulting / financial services industry experience
  • Education: Bachelors or Masters Degrees in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, or other relevant field of study, with proven academic excellence.
