About the Role
As a Regional Sales Director some of your key responsibilities will involve:
To achieve and exceed the Area new new business budget
Area accountability for new new business sales through Business Development Directors/Managers in conjunction with Heads of Office
Joint accountability with Heads of Office for new new business sales through the client management community
Contribute to Area new new business sales by achieving or exceeding personal target
Lead major prospecting activity
Manage Area sales funnel utilising SFDC
Implementation of short term strategies to rectify any gaps in pipeline coverage
Implement Area sales & marketing plan in conjunction with National sales & marketing strategy
Lead nurturing for targets utilising SFDC and Eloqua
Event management in collaboration with Marketing
Contribute to thought leadership and content as part of National and Area Marketing initiatives
Responsibility for Area networking with trade bodies, other professionals and third parties
Implement Area account planning
Top 20 prospects by Business Development Manager/Director
People management – Coach, mentor and train Business Development Managers/Directors in conjunction with Heads of Office
Create/build a people pipeline
Lead an Aon United approach to sales by creating a virtual area new business across National, H&B, ACI and AGRC
Part of the Area leadership team
Support the business beyond sales
Promote cross selling with other Aon divisions
