DCS Middle Office Senior Analyst


Aon Hewitt is currently recruiting a DCS (Delegated Consultancy Service) Senior Middle Office Analyst to join our team in London. You will be primarily responsible for taking ownership of all Middle Office tasks, and support the wider DCS teams to ensure the smooth running of the business.


About the Role

As a DCS Middle Office Senior Analyst some of your key responsibilities will involve;

  • Developing a close working relationship with the custodian, administrator and sub-investment managers
  • Working closely with various internal teams (including Portfolio Management and Sales)
  • Maintaining oversight of current and projected cash balances
  • Performing daily reconciliations of fund holdings and investor holdings
  • Client and fund transaction analysis
  • Completion of proxy voting forms
  • Assisting in pension fund audits
  • Assisting in preparation of client meeting packs
  • Scheduling internal portfolio committee meetings and preparation of presentation packs
  • Reviewing monthly / quarterly performance calculations
  • Reviewing monthly / quarterly reports
  • Ad hoc project work


About you

As a DCS Middle Office Senior Analyst your skills and qualifications will include;

  • Previous asset management experience / exposure essential
  • Experience with the various methods of investment performance calculations from a relevant operational role
  • Institutional/fund of fund experience preferred
  • Knowledge of all major asset classes
  • Knowledge of investment structures & Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) useful
  • Excellent numerical ability and analytical skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong computer skills, with advanced skills in Excel and Word
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and maintain working relationships with both internal and external clients
