Aon are currently recruiting a Client Management Director to join our National / Corporate team in Redhill. The Client Management Director will be primarily responsible for leading a team of client managers to achieve the annual revenue target by effectively implementing the client management strategy and annual plans.

About the Role


As a Client Management Director some of your key responsibilities will involve;


Leading a dedicated team of client managers to achieve the annual revenue target for their group of clients by effectively implementing the client management strategy and annual plans.
Managing the performance delivered by dedicated team and ensures the overall growth of revenue of their clients.
Driving the highest level of service to each Client, in line with the agreed client service plans
Leading the Client Management team to act as the Client's advocate and guide within Aon ensuring products and services are identified and introduced, to meet the needs of Clients
Acting as senior relationship manager for designated clients co-ordinating client relationship management across the whole of Aon and building senior level relationships within their Clients.
Leading a team of Client Managers through coaching, development and performance management, ensuring completed objectives with supporting personal development plans in place.
Ensuring all team members attend relevant personal development courses in line with their role.
Developing and supporting team members in the achievement of their objectives through coaching and mentoring.
Attracting, developing and retaining talented individuals in line with business plans.
Developing and maintaining succession plans for key roles within the region.
Working with the Commercial Insurance leadership team to develop a working environment where people are positive, motivated and enthusiastic.
Working with the Area leadership team to improve key 'cultural' characteristics of the overall - Corporate business: enthusiasm, client focus, innovation, accountability.
Contributing to the development of strategy through the management group
providing leadership across all ARS teams instilling a culture of teamwork, effective communications and professionalism.
Acting as the Aon point of contact in the local market place.
Compiling with regulatory requirements and business procedures.
Ensuring all agreed practices and tools are actively and consistently applied.
Taking primary responsibility for ensuring staff awareness and conformances to all compliance related requirements.
Leading by example by ensuring own activity complies with regulatory requirements and business procedures.
Encouraging staff to be actively involved in raising awareness of non- conformances and ideas for improvements.

Responsible for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.


About you


As a Client Management Director your skills and qualifications will ideally include;


ACII/FCII or equivalent
Extensive experience in the insurance industry with proven experience in client relationship management
People management and motivation experience essential
Ability to manage multi discipline teams (sales / claims / client management / service)
Ability to build a highly motivated, focused team of Client Managers with a total portfolio value between £4m and £7m
Setting the standard for others to aspire to
Fulfilling the senior client liaison role for a number of larger Clients
Co-ordinating client relationship management for the whole of Aon on certain Clients.
